Designed for Alaska’s dedicated community of health care providers and professionals, the Symposium offers an engaging forum to explore evidence-based best practices, emerging research, and innovative advancements in pediatric health care. The 2025 Symposium featured a rich and wide-ranging agenda that reflected the most pressing issues facing children and adolescents today. Sessions explored topics such as Mental Health in Children and Youth in Alaska, Hepatitis Vaccines, Social Media and Teen Well-Being, Pediatric Brain Tumors, Youth Depression, Adolescent Acetaminophen Overdoses, Acute Rheumatic Fever and Rheumatic Heart Disease in Alaska, and Paths to Partnership: Tribal, Federal, and Academic Systems Working Together to Improve Indigenous Child Health—along with many more thought-provoking discussions.

Equally important, the Symposium creates a rare and invaluable opportunity for providers to connect face to face.
