Let HMG-AK Learn About You!
If you are interested in learning more about Help Me Grow Alaska and how HMG-AK can work with you or are interested in teaching HMG-AK about the services you offer and how you serve families in Alaska we would love to hear from you! Provider Connection Meetings are scheduled bi-weekly and offer structured time for individual providers, programs or agencies to meet with our Family Support Specialists at HMG-AK. During that time, HMG-AK staff engage to learn what services are offered, how to appropriately refer families, and to explain how HMG-AK can collaborate with the provider to support their patients or clients. The provider or agency receives a brief introduction about HMG-AK’s scope and purpose and have time to ask specific referral questions of our Family Support Specialists. These meetings are offered virtually allowing engagement with staff and providers statewide in a convenient and easily accessible format. You can request a Provider Connection Meeting below.
Conference Presentations
Help Me Grow Alaska staff are always excited to have the opportunity to teach new audiences about the services HMG-AK provides. Formal presentations can be scheduled for large conferences, coalition meetings, or agency in-service days. These presentations are HMG-AK staff are designed to inform audiences of the depth and breadth of our services, how to refer a family for care coordination support, and how HMG-AK can partner with various sectors to increase the health and well-being of children. HMG-AK staff tailor presentations specifically to the audience and are able to provide real-time data on the challenges and successes families are experiencing as they navigate complex systems of care. Presentations can be provided both in-person or virtually, depending on the needs of the audience. We are also available to host informational tables at your event as a vendor if requested.

Books, Blocks and Balls Developmental Screening Toolkit
Books, Blocks and Balls is an interactive parent event that allows the community a fun and entertaining venue to provide information about child development, developmental screenings and community resources.
We have limited capacity to do Books, Blocks and Balls as a stand-alone event, but this event can be paired with an A2P2 Partnership Meeting between the months of November – May.
Strengthening Families Toolkit
Strengthening Families™ training is available through the Child Welfare Academy. If you are interested in the full Strengthening Families™ training for you or a staff member, we are happy to help you find one and we have a trainer on staff to help.
The toolkit is available for FREE through Help Me Grow Alaska.
